Camp Hill, PA – Today, Former Trump Ambassador to Denmark Carla Sands blasted Democrats for voting to allow felons to receive COVID relief payments shown in a new court filing released on Wednesday. Sands released the following statement, pointing out that Senator Cotton foreshadowed that this would happen in March and Senator Cassidy introduced an amendment to not allow the payments to go to felons and the Democrats didn’t support it.
“While democrats voted to allow felons, including literal terrorists, to receive COVID payments, middle-class Pennsylvanians are struggling and inflation is rising,” said Ambassador Carla Sands. “My friend Senator Cotton saw this coming and warned us, and Senator Cassidy even introduced an amendment to bar felons from receiving relief payments, but it received no support from Democrats. Pennsylvanians see through the Democrats’ political games. We will have a red tsunami this year because Americans are ready for leaders who will put them first by fighting to get gas and grocery store prices down and tackle inflation.”
While Sands continues advocating for policies that put Pennsylvanians first, Democrats are more focused on making felons happy. In the Senate, Sands will push back against Democrats on day one and stand up against their policies that put politics over Pennsylvania families.
